How it works
We train and certify all prospective coaches before hiring. This helps ensure that you have everything you need to lead your own Scoops classes. It’s easy, free and fun! How does it work?
Step 1. Apply here. Fill out the form below brief online application form so that we can contact you regarding next steps.
Step 2. Phone interview. Let’s talk! We’ll work with you to schedule a brief phone interview to learn more about you and share more about Scoops.
Step 3. Follow up interview & Background check. Our partners at iCORI will contact you to conduct a CORI background check.
Step 4. Working interview & Training. If successful phone interview and background check are completed, Scoops will contact you to schedule your working interview and coach training sessions. We will ask you to attend four group sessions, during which you’ll get hands-on experience leading drills, the basic how-to’s of leading a class and other necessary background. Sessions are offered multiple times per week on the South Shore and metrowest areas.
Step 5. Certification. Once you’ve successfully completed your coaching training, you’re Scoops-certified!
Step 6. Hire. Certified coaches are eligible for hire in any Scoops locations. New locations coming this Spring throughout the near northern suburbs of Boston, Metrowest, south shore and North Shore.
